Our founder started the business in 2006 and has been serving renters, landlords, and property managers for almost 2 decades. It all started when Rich's own family began experiencing symptoms of a mycotoxin-related illness. He did a lot of research to figure out what was going on, and he learned enough about mold to pique his interest. After he got his family to safer conditions, Rich decided he wanted to help other people with their mold issues, as mold related illnesses can be a lot more serious than most people think. This eventually led to the founding of Certified-Environmental.
